Interesting post about Tor

So turntable.fm is gathering pace on the internets and I really would like to use it. But as it’s restricted to North America, it means I’m scuppered until then.

Now, I *COULD* use Tor, but as this article from Cryptome I’d rather not thank you. I’ve nothing to hide, but I’d rather not have US Navy Intelligence potentially recording all I do. I saw this article mid-June but was reminded of it by a friend.

I mean, that’s what the NSA does right?!

radfive: Diamond design exploration. I’m creating a deck of cards using Native American symbols. It’s really fun and challenging. I’m trying to use symbols that are specific to Native American culture, but not specific to any one particular group. And on top of that, if I completely departed from the established suits everyone is familiar with, it would confuse game play. So, the arrowhead is similar to a spade, the thunderbird print is similar to a heart icon, the butterfly design is similar(ish) to a club icon. The diamond shape with a cross/crux inside is symbolic of the four cardinal points (N S E W) but red and crosses and certain combinations are so specific to other groups, therefore taking the most necessary design exploration.
